I'm curious on whether I should transplant this avocado seedling yet or not? Any tips would be appreciated.

Wait ;-)

At least allow a few of those leaves to start returning energy to the roots.
How do you plan on growing this Avocado? Indoors full-time, or outdoors sometimes?

RE: Transplant or wait? (Avocado)

I think outside for the summer and indoors under my grow lights for the winter. What do you recommend?

RE: Transplant or wait? (Avocado)

That's the stage that I move mine outside at. Mine are started in pots after initial germination in a paper towel, so I'm not sure how soon after transplanting you should move'em out. I keep mine on the north side of the house, spaced among the hostas. Since mine are all in gritty mix, I've often had to water them twice a day during this hot weather. Mine will also be brought in for the winter and placed under grow lights, 12 hrs. per day.

This is where it's at now...still wait?

I think it would benefit significantly from getting it out of that water bath and into a chunkier soil you can water from the top w/o having to worry about the soil remaining wet so long it's going to impair root function .... same with the rest of the plants.
