How to over winter a baby strawberry?

My brother got me a cheap strawberry growing kit early this spring. I planted the seeds in the little container it came with and hoped for the best. All spring and summer nothing came up and I thought the kit was a dud. Then to my surprise in early September I noticed one strawberry germinated and shot out some leaves. I carefully reported it into a pot of its own with a starter mix soil. It looked awkward in the pot the kit came with because none of the other seeds germinated.

Now I'm not sure what to do. I know strawberries are hardy and should over winter outdoors, but this guy is so young I think that it might freeze and die over the winter.

Should I keep the stawberry indoors with my other plants this winter?
