The Pepper plant has been in its new pot and I felt it started to grow at some good pace but the soil I felt did not dry up - even after 4 days under above 95F tempratures. Now the leaves have started to look very bulky - seems there is much water inside them. I have not watered them for last 4 days and I could even see a green layer on the soil - most likely fungus. What should I do to correct this situation? Is there a turn around possible? How likely is it?

And what should I do to promote branching? Is it ok to do it when the pepper plant height is about 1 feet?
