To inoculate or not?

I'm going to be plant Shelling Peas (progress #9) and Snow Peas (Oregon sugar pod) in Sub-Irrigated planters and was wondering if inoculating is necessary? Anyone have experience growing with or without inoculant in containers? Was there a difference?

RE: To inoculate or not?

You won't need the inoculant, but you will need to provide nitrogen just as you would any other plant. Even in the earth it's questionable if the inoculant accomplishes anything.
