Earth Boxes Leaking

Well I am not having very good luck with my Earth Boxes. This is the second one that has leaked. I had them replace the first one and now the one they replaced it with is leaking. Has anyone else had this problem? Sure they will replace it, but I have tomato plants growing in it that probably will take a bad hit or possible even die when I try and transfer them over to the new box. They seem to be leaking somewhere along the bottom seem. It is too heavy to be able to check it out by lifting up. If there another "container" box that people use other then making there own? Thanks

Gardener Supply has a number of designs and Grow Patch has one as well. I have used both and both are fine.

Never had an EB leak, it's odd that this has happened to you twice. Either they are having some QC problems or your environment has something in it that is damaging them.

I've had several for several years - no leaking. I have two that are less than a year old; both of those are fine.

Interesting. You might want to post this question over at the EarthBox forum. I suspect the number of potential answers is even greater than here as regards the EB.

FWIW: As regards the "Garden Patch", I bought one and returned it immediately. I did not like its design or construction nearly so well as the EB. However, with your luck with the EB, you might think differently. IIRC, it holds more water and less potting mix.
