Advice - itsa mite magnet, so watch for that particular pest. It looks like there probably was some overexposure to the sun (the white on the leaves). Keep it in a fairly cool spot (60-65*). Use a soil that allows you to water copiously to flush the soil and then let it get fairly, but not completely dry before watering again. If you water that way, fertilize every 2 weeks with about a 1/4 recommended dose of a 3:1:2 ratio soluble fertilizer for the winter, then go to a 1/2 dose when you move the plant outdoors into shade, where it will be much happier. In fact, if it's warm enough there now, that's where I'd site it. Do what you can to keep the humidity north of 45-50%.

Ivy can be temperamental indoors.

Ok thank you! It's going to be difficult to keep it at 60-65* sadly but I'll see how it goes. Nice to know about the mites. I'm thinking I might repot something else with what I currently have in there as this mix looks to hold moisture too long. :)

cam , in what is tha plant potted ? is that common soil or potting mix ?

You'll find some help dealing with more water retention than you want or need if you follow the link below. Your soil and how much water it holds, which is the reciprocal of how much air it holds, has extreme influence on your ability to coax the maximum potential from your plants. tecnico: It's potting mix. and at that, a mixture of the Miracle Grow Moisture Control and another potting mix...i ran out of the first bag. It's fast draining but seems to not move the moisture at all.

Al, thanks again. I think I might have read the article and a few other of your posts, actually! Before I moved to an apartment I used to make the fast draining 5:1:1 mix with pine fines, peat moss, etc for tomatoes. Loved it! A belated thanks.
