DIY Container for fuzzy kiwi

Posted by CharlieBoring 7 (My Page) on

I want to grow a fuzzy kiwi in a container on my patio. I already have three fuzzy kiwis running up three posts of my pergola and I have one post that is surrounded by patio, therefore I am considering using a large DIY, attractive, long-lasting pot. I can make a cement pot, but that would be very heavy and I am looking for a lighter weight material? Any suggestions for the pot material? How big should the pot be?

I think you have plenty of kiwi to cover the pergola already. I understand the desire for uniformity but I think any large container is going to throw the balance of the space off.

I'm with nil13...those kiwi's will get very large and I have found it more pleasing to the eye to do odd numbers of plants...or just about anything really.
