Im new to the site and to veg gardening. This year I am creating a kitchen garden, we only have a small area for this and I would like to grow potatoes in a container, so my question is once the early potatoes have been harvested do I have to replace the compost to grow a main crop? and can the used compost be incorporated into the rest of the plot? Plus 2 other matters 1.Im in the UK and 2. I would be grateful for recommendations to websites and books for ideas on a decorative kitchen garden as mine is actually at the front of the house.
