If you post something that is just stupid do you...

If one posts something that is just plain stupid but harmless should one try and correct it with a subsequent post or should one just wait and hope it just goes away?

I compose my posts elsewhere so I have a spell check and then cut and paste on GW. I got part of two messages combined with a result that was meaningless and got them posted. With no edit to fix it should I just play dumb until it goes away.

Geez, I don't know Albert...I've never done anything that. But IF I did, I agree with what Veilchen said.

But I would never do anything like that...HA! ME? Post something stupid? Neva!

I, on the other hand, am imfaamous for getting all riled up and gettin' down-right uppity, and when internally prevoked, say really stupid stuff on the forums, and sinnce I am totally lesdixic, put thought before intent. And have gotten enough input to know that either folks know my intentions (and not the tiraid that fuels me), that they write me back and say that they understand the fury but that I have a tendancy to get garbled... Bless they're hearts.. what understanding folks here... darlene
