My Mom picked up a copy of a magazine called Garden Gate. She passed it along to me. I did like the magazine, although the focus was not on vegetables. I was hoping my fellow gardeners could give some advice on good gardening books and magazines with the focus on veggies. I'm not a newbie when it comes to gardening, but not an expert by any means. Thanks!

Organic Gardening used to be good but it's been a long while since I last read one. Internet searching and esp this type of think tank site is good too.

Bump! Wow, it's hard to believe this thread got so little response. I am staring down the barrel of a long winter and wonder what I might read to get me through. I have some of the basics and how-tos....looking for more of the same with a different perspective or a fun read like Georgianne Brennan's In the French Kitchen Garden.

Oh, now I know why....we're over on the convo side! I think I'll post this on the regular side... :-)
