There a lot of people on the vegetable forum who should be outside working. Is the weather forcing you inside?

The weather is so bad that here in Central Nevada we got 0.01 inches of rain yeasterday!

My garden is doing ok in this cold, esp since it now only consists of spinach, lettuce, onions, peas, asparagus, strawberries, and broccoli. This weekend it "looks" like it'll be warming up enough to plant early corn, squash, beans, and time to start the melons indoors. 70's predicted here all next week so hoping the nite time 30s-40s are getting behind us now here in central Va. This Nor'easter gave us 3" rain which hopefully shut down the mini-drought we've recently experienced.

The short answer, yes. Our high temps have been in the 30's. We had snow Thursday night. It doesn't look much better for the next week. I hate winter. Where's that global warming thing their talking about?

Cranky in cold weather!

Wow, how fast a year passes, but no problems here again this year with planting as everything I listed in 2007 above is planted now ok. No snow or freezing temps here in central Va. We haven't had a good snow (>1") in over 3 years.
