| Hi there! New to this forum and was hoping someone could help me! I did a huge raised bed this year but also decided to plant some cukes in containers. So here is my dilemma I have a 15" container and I planted 3 Chicago pickling seeds and allowed them to mature. While they appear to be doing well, and starting to produce fruit - I read that's way too many. They are quite large, and with them appearing to be healthy was wondering if I am better to just leave them be (is it too late to thin - as root systems would already be in tact so it wouldn't benefit the other plants now?) or should I be cutting one or two at the surface? |
