| Fantastic !!!
That sums it up. At first I was disappointed because the first 2 I picked looked to be ripe by all indicators but they were just pinkish white inside. But last night the 3rd time was a Charm and that baby was Terrific. Very firm flesh but not too firm as it melts in one's mouth like a sugar cube. Wayne, by being firm (not mushy even around the seeds) do you take notice that Raspa stores well for a longer period than other softer fleshed melons? Thanks for the raspa recommendation!!! I got many more out there on the vines. vgkg |

| Peggy,...update: We ate the 2nd Black tail Mnt last nite and it was red inside. No other colors so far. |

| We cut open Raspa # 2 yesterday and it was just as sugary as the first ripe one. A keeper, no turning back. Raspa and Yellow Dolls are tops for us. Black Tail Mtn is also very good (and still red Peggy ;o). |
