| Is 4'X8'x10". But what makes my bed a little different than most, at least what I am aware of, is that is raise 3' off the ground. The beauty of this…no bending over! The worse part…finding a way to hold up almost a ton of dirt. I have 2x4's secured with hurricane brackets with old bugler bars sitting on top of the 2x4's. Works really well so far, I've had it built since Jan. My dad has a very similar, but larger, set up for three years now and it made it thro a hurricane. This month I've been adding a cover over it, to help protect the plants from the hell heat of the south Texas sun. Once it starts getting colder I will cover it with a thick mil plastic that will turn it into a greenhouse.
I'm posting this from my phone, so I've going to try and upload the photos from my phone. If for some reason I can't post the photos I'll take some with my camera tomorrow and post them from my laptop. Just wanted to share with everybody. Ok it says uploads disabled, I must not be able to to a mobile upload. But I have uploaded photos to my Facebook page, so added a link to that if anybody has a Facebook account can look at them. I'll upload some photos from my laptop tomorrow. |
