Cuke Gone Wild !?!

Dear Gardening Family,

I thought, why not use those old clothes line poles for some growing some cukes. The poles are 6',3" off the ground. The cukes made it all the way up the poles and black plastic netting in less than 60 days ! I know that pruning the cukes would be a bad idea, (like chicken-wire canoe/ screen dooor on a submarine bad), but after inserting some stick extensions, hitchin' a ride on some nearby sunflowers, and possibly trying to run the vines over my garage (?) I am just about out of ideas ...anyone ?
anyone ? Buehler Buehler ??

Thanks for you thoughts,
God Love You !
