| One of my cukes has been growing with several rows of stem (as the picture shows, it is as though it was meant to be 10 plants. It starts out from the ground with only one stem, and then splits at the first leaf union. Has anyone else seen this before, i have never, its just a simple english, but due to the nature of its growth is a very heavy producer ( where there would be one female flower, there are 3 or 4.
If i re-seed from this plant, can i expect similar result from the second generation?... I leave at those questions. |

| Very cool! This phenomenom is known as "fasciation" and happens in all kinds of plants? I think its mostly an unstable mutation, but there are a few examples of cultivars that are based on it. How did your fruit turn out? I hope you're raising more and if you don't get results this season, try again next year. |
