Mystery Squash Indentification

I have this squash plant that has come from compost I spread through the garden, but I have no idea what type it is. The leaves and flowers tell me it is a squash and not a melon, but I cannot remember eating or disposing of any squash that looked like this at all! Although I am happy to have anything growing in my Florida garden in July following a May with 24" of rain, I sure would like to know what this could be!

This happens fairly often to people who compost. You could have a squash from cross pollination where it grew which would cause the fruit to be different, or the parent was a hybrid and the babies from hybrids often look nothing like the parent.
