| its been a long haul I started very late and my sunflowers withstood very harsh conditions of excessive rain to dryness and heat and a long bout of very cool weather at the end of august and into september , tree snapping wind and of course several light frosts and now moderate to hard frosts this week so the end looks near the flower is only about 1 week old with many other flowers on it not yet bloomed . I really enjoyed the whole process and managed to do a photo journal and so thankful it was not killed before it flowered . |
