Drip line low-flow venturi for liquid fertilsing?

Hi folks,

Darren here with a question about how to use a venturi to fertilise my 49metre square lot.

I purchased one of the cheap (although not cheap when shipped to Australia!) eBay venturies without realising it would very likely not work under the low pressure of my drip irrigation.

I have about 200m or so of drip line and I'd like to inject liquid fertiliser (Bailey's RUM) every so often.

I'd ideally like to run it straight off the garden hose mainline. Is that possible do you think? I've heard that a Maezzi venturi could work for low-flow systems, but that could get expensive when shipped down here.

Here's a photo showing the water timer, hose and the 12 inch venturi door stop I've aquired.

Many thanks!!!
Darren
