I knew it would happen eventually...I have to protect my seedlings from a 2 year old, 4 year old and two cats, so I have my grow light set up upstairs behind a tall baby gate. I put a few pots of onion seedlings in water this evening and went downstairs while they soaked it up, went back up and they were upside down on the floor. I guess my cats tried drinking out of the tray and knocked them over. ugh. Good thing I have back ups!!

I am certain my cat would do the exact same thing. That's one of the reasons my setup is in the basement! :-D

Onions are tougher than they look, don't throw away those seedlings! Just try to get them back in the pot, a good portion of them will keep on keepin' on...

Sunni- I was able to save a few but plan on starting more tonight. I want to make sure I have enough transplants to go in the garden come planting time.
