Ok, as you can see from the sign in the picture, I thought I was buying cauliflower. The picture of the plant is what grew. This has been my 'winter' crop experiment. I kept wondering when the white cauliflower would start growing, then I started seeing all these buds. Can someone please confirm? The unfortunate thing is that I don't like brussel sprouts. At least I'm pretty sure I don't.

Sure looks like Brussel Sprouts. The old tag switcheroo problem. You like cabbage? Then try the sprouts. Steamed with a bit of butter, S&P or garlic salt. Delicious. Dave

I'd roast them at 425°, in a cast iron skillet if possible, with olive oil and garlic. ~emmers

Congratulations on your successful brussels sprouts! They look delicious -- and they'll be way better than anything you've gotten from the store in the past, so you may find out that you like them. :)

Yep. Brussels sprouts. Although when you said you kept waiting for the cauli head, that's what one does... wait. Although most cauli varieties SAY that harvest is in 65 days or so, I have yet to see a head that quickly in the 5 years I've been growing them--- more like 90 days. Give Brussels another shot --- roast em up with garlic and olive oil S&P and BACON. Let them get kinda charred. Pretty good stuff. Kevin
