That could work. I wouldn't make them taller than you want to reach. Also, keep in mind that squash, with their fruit, get really HEAVY. So, when making trellis' pretend you're making them so a small child could climb on them : )

I've made an A-frame bamboo trellis for cucumbers and beans before, but not squash. If you're talking about the winter squashes, the vine system is really huge and heavy so you will need the really thick bamboo and lots of intersections to make it strong enough. It can be done though, I'm sure.

It is not bamboo but I'm sure is a start and can be done with 1" round bamboo.

That's cool geeboss....what kind of squash is that? What is the basic construction of the squash arbor....kinda looks like you made a criss-cross panel and then somehow stood it up on legs....?
