| I am trying to figure out how much 40 lbs. of pasturized straw used as the medium for Oyster mushroom spawn will produce in lbs. of mushrooms. If I am reading correctly it should be a 1:1 ratio, is this correct? |

| In a commercial operation, yes. You be content with 1:2, or 20 lbs, over two or three flushes depending on strain. Anything above that and you can brag. |
