| Hi. I live In Detroit and this is my first time growing sweet potato I would like to know when such I plant them and what to use them and when to harvest them.? |

| Planting in your area is likely about May 20 to 30th. You harvest them usually about October 1 ...before killing frost. I suggest making a 10 inch high ridge to plant them in. |

| Here you go. Probably more than you would ever want to know. :) How to plant and grow sweet potatoes Since they are a tropical plant, in your zone you will need to pre-warm the soil with plastic prior to planting. Dave |
