Wood roaches in my garden

I have discovered roaches in my garden, I looked them up and they are wood roaches which apparently I have invited by adding mulch to my garden! Does anyone know if they will harm my plants and vegetables? Is there anyway to naturally keep them away without harming my harvest?

I live in the woods and have tons of wood roaches. Big suckers! Never found them to be any threat to the gardens at all.

The problems associated with using wood mulches in the vegetable garden is a whole other discussion. It is not generally recommended. Not because of the roaches but because of what it does to the soil and the nutrient levels. You might want to do some research into that part.

Wood chips are better used around fruit trees.
Roaches are everywhere & in your garden they will not hurt you crops.
