garlic leeks...anyone seen them?

i found garlic leeks...or whatever they are. they look like juvenile leeks, but taste like garlic...i found them at a flea market produce section. what's the deal? i've never seen or heard of these in my life...help please! they're delicous! anyone seen them?

I sell these as "Green Garlic". After I plant garlic with large cloves, I sow the small cloves closely together. Before these begin to bulb up but have 4-6 leaves, I harvest them and trim up like leeks. In essence these look like scallions.

Another growing option is plant cloves closer together and harvest "green garlic" as thinnings.
