 o
"recycled" garlic?

I planted garlic in 2012 and pulled it up last year in 2013. I didn't use much so I didn't replant for pulling up any this year. However, I found I have two volunteers this year (!) that I apparently missed last year. Each clove is sprouting so I have two bundles of several sets apiece of garlic greens coming up. Can I separate these, replant, and get something usable this fall, or is it too late? Thanks!

Yes you can separate them now. As far as they are concerned, it is just like you planted them recently, so the harvest time period is about the same.

However, garlic planted this late will not produce very big cloves. It is usually planted the previous Autumn for a summer crop.

Alternatively, you could just leave them alone and either use as garlic greens or separate and replant in the Autumn.
