| I am getting ready to plant and I know that the tall seed-type amaranths can withstand our hot-n-humid summers. Can the Asian edible types hold up as well?
I'm also planting New Zealand Spinach and Malabar Spinach. Please post what your results were. And, if you will, how do you prepare them?. |

| never tried it but it is popular in southeast Asia ( Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia) so it should do well in the south. |

| I grew it here in southern CA. It did great and self seeded like mad. The red varieties are really pretty too. |
