Sad Droopy Eggplant

So I bought an eggplant starter less than a week agao that for some reason became droopy over night. It has been kept inside in the sunshine and doesn't appear to be over watered. Any suggestions?

Are the plants becoming root bound?

That would be my best guess - given the size of the leaves it is rootbound and in need of water. What is there 6 or 9 plants in that small container or cell pack?

I think you are right. Should I just re pot the plant for now? I think it is way too early to plant outdoors here in MA.

There is one plant per cell, in a 4 cell pack. 1 of 3 is doing fine. There is another cell pack that is behind it that is thriving so it looks like there are more.

Hmmm sure looks like more than 4 in there but yes if you can't plant it outside yet then you will have to transplant them into individual pots. At that size I'd use at least 1/2 gallon pots each.
