What suppliers of asparagus roots have you had good luck with?

I saw some 2 year asparagus roots for sale (in all places) at my local grocery store. I forget the brand, but I didn't want to buy them without asking here if there are producers I should avoid... or ones I should seek out.

Thanks for any advice!

I never really thought about it and don't recall it ever coming up. I would mostly just eyeball them for healthiness and decide based on that. Are the roots pliable, not brittle and dry? Are they free of mold and not slimy? Then they are probably good to plant.
