Recently some leaves on my bell pepper plant have gotten tiny yellow spots. What's causing this? Is it harmful to the plant ? I hope it's not dying. It's so close to harvesting. Thank you!

Pinprick yellow spots often are caused by spider mites feeding on leaf undersides. You should be able to see them and faint webbing with a magnifying glass. If you get a positive ID, gently wipe off the leaf undersides with paper towels dipped in soapy water. A few days later spray with insecticidal soap. If it's not spider mites it could be oedema -- burst cells from uneven watering, which look like rough bumps on leaf undersides. If that's the problem, the plant should outgrow it.

Spider mites make very fine stippling, more fine than in the picture. I'd suspect edema. what does the leaf underside look like?

Thanks for the replies! I think it's edema.
