| So I'm growing a Pumpkin on a Stick (which is actually a form of ornamental eggplant) this year, and holy cow I didn't think it would look this evil. I mean, I had heard that eggplants had thorns, but I'm used to thorns on things like blackberries and roses. Seeing giant purple thorns coming out of the leaves like the devil's salad bar is just awesome.
I'm definitely leaving the leaves on later in the season when I'm harvesting them for decorations with the mini-pumpkin looking fruit. These things are just evil! |

| You should grow litchi tomato then -- also vicious and thorny. |
