Yellow leaves on ?pumpkin? plants

Hello everyone. I have an accidental garden growing on what used to be my compost heap, which, as it turns out, was more of a lasagna garden. Anyhoo, I have around 60 plants of 6 different varieties growing and am kind of excited to see where this goes. These ones, I think, are pumpkin seedlings. They were growing beautifully until just recently when they started to develop these yellow spots. I've looked at similar posts and have read the possibilities, but was hoping this picture would help in the proper diagnosis. Is it possible that they need fertilizer? I've read that fertilizing too early could harm them. Or do you think it's a fungus or insect problem? I had noticed a powdery white substance on one of them and had removed it so it wouldn't spread- but maybe it did?
All input appreciated!
Thanks
