Bad corn??

Do you think I should ditch this corn and start new seeds?? I feel like they are really short and the cobs aren't filling out very well, but the silk is already drying out and turning brown. Some of the cobs are being eaten by ants on the top where the husk has been peeled. I figure it is still early enough to plant new corn and try again. Thoughts??
