So I planted half of my tomato and tomatillo starts about a week ago. I know it was to early, but I am one to push the envelope and I have back ups. That said forecast is calling for temps down to 35 overnight until Monday. Lovely. I read a post about making mini greenhouses out of Saran wrap wrapped around tomato cage. I went out to experiment and the only potential problem I see with this method is the fact that the plastic is touching a few leaves, if I additionally cover the cages with sheets overnight do you think the leaves touching the plastic would create a problem?
