Cucumbers and Zucchini

With the help of plastic mulch and a warm spring, we planted cucumbers and zucchini outside on April 1st (no joke). They are really starting to take off now. The squash will be blooming in a week or so and the cucumbers are starting to vine.

I also transplanted some zucchini I started on 3/20 in a movable tunnel on April 2nd. We harvested our first zucchini yesterday.

Now if I can just keep the bugs away!

Here are some pics.

Now (sorry I didn't realize they were so dark)

This was the one we had last night. It was much bigger than in the pic.

Inside little cucumbers (got these out later than I wanted too)

RE: Cucumbers and Zucchini

Man, wish I had my setup like that. I need to get some plastic and make rows similar to that. Could reach close to 80 F next week in my area, and I have melons not planted yet!
