Cucumber seedlings suddenly dying out

Hi all,

My cucumber seedlings were doing great up until about a week ago, when leaves started yellowing and dying. Before everybody guesses bacterial wilt, I did the gooey yellow stuff test from a cut leaf stem and there is no such gooey substance.

I also found a bunch of these bugs around the tray, which don't really look like the pictures of cucumber beetles which I found online (I am in China, so maybe they look different here?). In the center of the picture is the one beetle which walks around everywhere in circles and to the left is a winged bug which might be the same species? I found a bunch of disembodied wings, but this is the first live one I found.

Anybody have any ideas on what my problem is and what course of action to take?

Could you re-post the picture? I can't view it within the post, nor open it by clicking.

Where are you located ? what have been the temperatures like ?
Cucumbers, generally, cannot tolerate cold. They are more cold sensitive than peppers and eggplants, more like basil.
I have killed more cucumbers and basil than anything else, due to cold weather and itching to plant out.
