Catel panel trellis question.

I'm starting my first garden, I've got raised beds and wanted to do a cattle panel trellis archway between two. It would be 2 feet of garden on south then a 2foot path and 2 more feet on north. Would this work or will the north ones suffer being shaded by the south vines? Also could I then cover it in the fall and use as a hoop house for winter griwing? This was the idea but I'm afraid I'm missing something since I've never done this vefore

I've had N-S parallel green beans that did fine, cause they grow at the same rate. and don't get too shaded until they're well established. Mine are maybe 3' apart, but I don't think it would be a problem. During the summer, the sun is more directly overhead. Nancy
