what's wrong with zucchini plants

| The leaves are turning white like the picture. All 3 plants have this and I'm not sure what it is. |

| Common question here and many photos are available in the previous discussions and on the web. Just Google 'silvering of zucchini leaves' for pics to compare to your plants. So while it is not great contrast in this photo and you don't give the variety name, it looks like the normal silvering of leaves often seen in some varieties of zuke to me. Silvering follows the vein patterns in the leaves while the common mildew diseases are patchy and randomly scattered all over the leaf. Name the variety please. Dave. |

| I never noticed that on my plants before, So I went out to look and mine don't have it, I just hilled mine for the second time so maybe they get that way in a later stage, I will check later again. |

I think what is seen in the picture is natural silvering, as it follows veins pattern.
At any event this is good warning that maybe you should start spraying systematically every two weeks or so as preventive measure. Preventing PM is much easier than fighting it. |

| Normal silvering of the leaves as Dave said, I get it on my green zucchini every year. |
