Does anyone know which tomato is considered the most rootknot nematode resistant in high heat? Have any studies been published about it maybe.

You might want to ask over on the Growing Tomatoes forum here - linked in the related forums on this one's front page. Several experienced experts that and I know nematode resistance has been discussed there before.

Meanwhile check out this list from Mississippi State.

You can plant tomatoes amongst your asparagus to help with this problem. Apparently the nematodes cant stand it. plant the tomatoes after the asparagus harvest.

There are several varieties that have mid level tolerance to nematodes. Most are hybrids. A few heirlooms have some nematode tolerance. Red Mortgage Lifter is one example.

If you have a really serious nematode problem, the best solution may be to use grafted plants. Maxifort rootstock is exceptional in having very high vigor and excellent nematode and disease tolerance.
