Looks like crabgrass, sorry I'm not really sure what the best way to get rid of it is.

Crabgrass, I second.

Pull them or hoe them.

Thanks for reply. After looking closer..they are sprouting out of tiny red seeds.. Much smaller than grass seed.

Agree it is crabgrass but regardless of what weed it is, it is a weed and needs to be gotten rid of. A garden hoe works well just as with all garden weeds and from the looks of your soil in the picture it sure could use the work.

Yes, not all grass seed is the same size. That's an annual grass of some sort. Anyway, you want to get those sooner rather than later. Small weeds are way easier to remove than big ones.
