Carrots: to pull or not to pull

This is the first year I have planted spring carrots. I got a good stand, but just like the fall ones, they are taking forever to size up. This week's temperatures have climbed into the high eighties everyday. I am willing to wait awhile longer if you think they will size up and not suffer in eating quality. Or should I just pull them and call it an education?

Nothing says they ALL have to be pulled or left. Pull 1 or 2 and look at it. Taste it. That will give you your answer whether they are ready or should be left.
