it doesn't look like insect damage to me, looks environmental - I wouldn't worry about it.

I personnelly don't like growing in pots, But try giving it a shot of Miracle Grow.

Miraclegro won't do anything for the environmental damage that plant has suffered, so I wouldn't fertilize it unless it's scheduled for a new dose. Looks like it was out in some wind, maybe a heavy rainstorm at some point. Those holes aren't anything to worry about. Cheers!

As you guys can see in one of the pictures flower pods are starting to grow should I pinch those on this plant? Will it help it grow better? Or should I let them grow?

Weather or not you pinch the buds is up to you. Most times the first few will fall off on their own anyway. If it were mine I would leave it be for pinching off the buds. When the temps hit over 95 most will not pollinate anyhow. If you do decide to remove the buds wait till the flower opens, then snip it at the base of the flower.

Overall the plant looks healthy. Give half strength liquid ferts as per the label for schedule. When you water keep the water off of the leaves, and stem if you can. As well as avoid over watering, and also avoid letting it dry too much, then over watering to compensate.
