Liquid Potassium?

Anyone used this product, liquid K 0-0-25? I am fertilizing my pumpkin patch with 5-15-5 and I am planning to supplement with the liquid K once I have fruit set so just wondering if 1 oz per gallon of water and applying a 1/2 gallon per hill once a week would be a good plan? Thanks!

What is the brand name? Google pulls up about 25 different what you are calling "liquid K 0-0-25" products.

And you'd likely get more info on pumpkin specific products from over on the Pumpkins forum here. When I search that forum for liquid K discussions it pulls up several of them.

The product I am considering is from extremepumpkinstore.com and it is made from potassium carbonate and the brand is Growth Products.

Will liquid iron do the job?

Potassium carbonate will raise the pH of your soil, much like wood ash. If your soil is already basic, this is a bad idea. If your soil is less than pH 6.5, it shouldn't hurt but it would be safer to apply a K fertilizer like potassium sulfate instead.

Thanks for that info Slimy_Okra because our PH is about 8!
