Okra problems

My okra plants look terrible! Direct sown Clemson spineless....need help! Thanks! :)

Bottom right hand pic looks like slug damage. I've had problems with them this year too. Bottom left looks like aphids and mildew has set in on the honeydew.

Have you had a long cool spring like we have? If so, you might try pulling your mulch back until the soil gets completely warm. Then put it back later.

Otherwise, I would advise you to give the plants a shot of fish emulsion and make sure they are getting plenty of water and sunshine. Okra's pretty tough. It just might pull out of this. Strong plants can often fight off insect damage.

I also have problems with my oakra plants. It looks like stunted growth & some disease on the plant. Can't figure out what disease and how treat. Any help?
