My melons have been in ground for almost 2 months. They have been flowering for a few weeks but only males. Just started seeing females a few days ago.

The female blooms come about 10 days later than the male blooms. These female blooms are ALWAYS further out on the vine than the male blooms. They also are greenish in the center ans the petals are lightewr gold than the male petals are.
The plant does not always want to raise babies with the very first female blossom, but more likely with the second or third one.

I do see little immature female flowers at the very end of he watermelon. I do not see any on the cantaloupe.

I planted my in February they are growing mad crazy, 30 +feet. I have found some tiny watermelon, they don't grow. But I haven't seen any more in months. Where the watermelon? The pumpkin next to the gave big fruit.

I planted 3 watermelon plants a month and a half to two months ago. The sugar baby has had probably 10-15 male flowers and only 3 female flowers. Of the 3 females, I hand pollinated all of them, only one of them is growing (it's bigger than a softball at this point), the other two have died off.

The charleston gray I planted has had probably 6-10 male blooms with no female blooms in sight yet.

The crimson sweet has had about the same amount of male blooms, also no female blooms.

The sugar baby is probably three times as large as the other two plants because it gets a little better sunlight.

I don't have any helpful tips for you, just letting you know it's normal.

Have you tried hand pollinating? There are some threads on this forum that would be helpful in guiding you how to do that. I did that on my sugar baby and was able to successfully pollinate one of the three flowers.
