 o
Plant ID please?

Hello all,
The garden has been doing great. Recently I have noticed squash-like plant coming out of an inactive compost bin. We haven't been tending to that bin in quite a while, and haven't grown squash in the past. Do y'all know what variety this is, if it is actually a squash?

I don't think folks can ID without a photo.

I've had cantaloupe growing from a compost pile...didn't know what it was until the "netting" appeared on the skin. It never did ripen because it was likely a long season variety and we have a short growing season.

Looks like a squash or pumpkin but there is no way for us to know the variety because of hybrids and cross-pollination.
