You have planted too many space wise. Maybe 3 times as many.
In the ground you plant two seeds(each with two eyes) per hill , spaced about one foot between hills.

But I did same last year, planted 2 potatoes in a bucket and here is the yield of last year.

What a neat post! I love the time-lapse effect. Did you harvest near June 25th? How long will you leave them in the ground?

That's amazing growth for 1 months time. Hopefully you can keep things going for a while longer and get a good harvest. This is after 3-4 months of growing.

These potatoes are still growing the harvest is of last year. i keep them in container till their leaves dies, to make sure potatoes are mature.
