I bought one suhyo/suyo plant from HD and noticed that it has all female flowers. Yet there are about 5 cucumbers that are growing and one will be ready in a few days to eat. Are they self-pollinating type ?

I normally just eat cucumbers after keeping them in fridge for a few hours to cool. If there is a better way to eat them, I would the info. I noticed they are more prickly than English/pickle variety. The plant is hardly 2 feet tall and already its laden with female blossom on every nooks and cranny... if others are considering easy cucumber to grow, I would recommend this variety.
