| I have just received a replacement order of Kennebec seed potatoes. I've already dug what potatoes I planted in Feb and was wondering if Fall potatoes could be grown in my zone and if so when they need to be planted. Do I need to keep the seed in the refrigerator until they can be planted?

| No need to refrigerate, just a cool dry place. I would spread them out so they aren't touching each other in case some rot before planting time. I'm in zone 7 , Upstate SC, and I plant mine from about July 1st to the 15th and they do well. Not as good production as the spring ones though. |

| Plant them now, I can't imagine why you would wait. You have plenty of time for an awesome crop ;-)

| Agree with the 'plant now' suggestion. I just harvested my earlies and replanted with the fall crop. In lots of zone 6/7 locations, there's plenty of time for 2 crops of potatoes. |

| Praying is Great, but also do whatever you can to keep the soil cooler than 80 degrees, they have a real hard time being prolific after 8o degrees. This is today's harvest : So Blessed ;-)
